Heckaman Homes Story:Built in Nappanee, Indiana, Heckaman Homes has been a leading builder of modular homes since 1969. Every home is delivered and set on-site by experienced drivers and crews trained at the factory. These experts are not sub-contractors, but instead are employees who specialize in quality home delivery and set up. Heckaman Homes feature ranch styles, cape cod and two story homes that can be customized to meet your design needs and decorating preferences.
Unibilt Homes Story:Unibilt Industries was founded by Carl Scholz, a vetern of the home building business. Carl literally grew up working and learning the various homebuilding trades from his father, a building contractor. In 1950 Carl opened a lumber yard in Vandalia, Ohio to service the post war construction hosing boom and quickly expanded into manufacturing of wall panels, roof trusses and pre-hung doors. Carl loved to innovate and crate grater production efficiencies. He saw his 1969 entry into the developing modular home industry as a natural progression in his quest for more affordable, better designed and higher quality homes.
Fourty-six years later, hving produced over tweleve thousand homes, Unibilt Industries is a nationally recognized leader in the modular home industry. The company remains a family owned business rooted to its small town, mid-western values of hard work, honesty and fairness.
